Our client came to us with a property mired in a mix of archaic and confusing law. Our team’s deep real estate acumen came into play to successfully negotiate with the city and county in order to certify the property. We navigated years of bureaucratic disorder to remove all development conditions on their lot, and finally free up our client to sell.
Hammon Plating
We represented a client who was in the process of acquiring a metal coating facility specializing in plated microchips. Business-critical disclosures started to surface after purchase including an active engagement with the EPA. We represented our client as our team worked at the state and federal level, including coordination with the EPA, to resolve all barriers to lawful land use and ownership. Not only was our client able to successfully complete their purchase, but we brought the once derelict property back into spotless compliance
Montecito Land Slide Challenges
Our client’s home was damaged and sustained serious injuries during a mudslide in the Montecito area. We found that the neighboring property’s improperly built driveway resulted in the ground giving way, both amplifying the landslide and causing injuries. We were able to remain a compassionate and empathetic partner as we worked on this serious matter in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
